I'd just like to publicly thank Jackie, a wonderful lady who lives somewhere Michigan, who has helped my ferret out John B's descendants and assorted family, right down to a living cousin, who still lives in Detroit, Michigan, who I was able to contact today. All this came from 'feeling' that John BE had gone to the US, which was proved, even if he started off by arriving in New York, and then going to Windsor, Essex, Ontario to start with, and then turning up in Detroit, Michigan in 1900. I am so grateful to this lady, and to all the wonderful people who respond to the various Roots sites. If I can ever try to help anyone looking for Australian info, please email me and I will do my very best. Regards Jan Moon Daintree, Australia
I don't know if you know this already or not but.....NY to Detroit, the shortest route is through Ontario....and Windsor is just across the river from Detroit....I live in Detroit, my boyfriend in Windsor...all logical moves. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jan & Stuart Moon" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, January 14, 2008 9:46 AM Subject: [MI-GENEALOGY] John B Goodson > I'd just like to publicly thank Jackie, a wonderful lady who lives > somewhere Michigan, who has helped my ferret out John B's descendants and > assorted family, right down to a living cousin, who still lives in > Detroit, Michigan, who I was able to contact today.
