Back in April, Bella asked if someone could look up the the death notice of W.J. Jones. In case no one has replied, here you go: JONES, WILLIAM J. 4720 Bristol Age 66, died Thursday morning at the home. He was a resident of Lansing and vicinity for 15 years, coming here from Detroit. For the last 9 years, Mr. Jones was an accountant for the Michigan department of revenue and from 1919 to 1929 was the owner and teacher of Douglas Business college in Uniontown, Pa. Surviving are the widow, Sarah; 2 daughters, Mrs. Betty King and Mrs. Anna M. Sproat, both of Lansing; 2 brothers, Joseph R. Jones of Seattle, James M. Jones of Kansas,and 2 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Estes Leadley Colonial chapel with Rev. Jack Kline officiating and interment in Deepdale cemetery.
