    1. [MI-GENEALOGY] Fwd: Tombstone / Marker Photos in MI
    2. Researching isn't easy. ;)  There are two tombstone photo sites, both are free, using volunteers to take photos of markers.  Find-a-Grave doesn't have the same photos as the MI Genweb site http://www.migenweb.net/.   Under the MI Genweb, there's a link for Michigan Tombstone Photo Project. I have posted more than a few photos for West Berlin in St. Clair County as well as Dryden's Pioneer (a.k.a. Foot) Cemetery under the MI Genweb site. Other volunteers around the state have done as much, IF not more than I. flora -----Original Message----- From: mi-genealogy-request@rootsweb.com To: mi-genealogy@rootsweb.com Sent: Thu, Jun 4, 2009 3:00 am Subject: MI-GENEALOGY Digest, Vol 4, Issue 131 ------------------------------ Message: 2 Date: Wed, 3 Jun 2009 20:02:46 -0400 From: Flora Mcrae <fjm4160@aol.com> Subject: [MI-GENEALOGY] Fwd: Port Crescent Cemetery To: mi-genealogy@rootsweb.com Message-ID: <10AE9DE8-803B-42AA-A189-12DC17760C85@aol.com> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII; format=flowed; delsp=yes You might also want to check out MI GENWEB. People from all over vol. to go to cemeteries and take photos for others. The sight is pretty easy to navigate. Just a thought in case you had not used the service before. And... it is free.
