You can also try the County Clerk's office for Kalamazoo county and the surrounding vicinity to see if they have nay kind of records on her. Have you done nmae serch on Ancestry.com? How about Rootsweb.com? I have found both these sites to be very helpful in my research. I would also strongly suggest checking out your local genealogical/historical society. quite often they have tips and resources to help you. Most of enjoy the search! suggestion try "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saints" Family History Center near you they have ALOT records an you can rent/order microfilm $ approximately $3.50. They assist you with any you question.
