Thanks for the info. My dad was never adopted. He left the orphanage around 16 years old. He hopped the box cars and went traveling. That orphanage burned down I'm told. Thats why I thought there was little hope of finding out anythink. I found the Michigan agency that handles these things. According to them, an adult adopted child can request the information regarding their adoption. Since your father is deceased, there is a possibility that you can request the information in his place.
