I believe that the Joseph Brown you are looking for may be in my family line. A Joseph R. Brown married Mary Jane Barton on 15 May, 1858 in Big Prairie Twp, Newaygo Co., MI. Mary Jane was the daughter of Robert Barton and Polly Harrington. Both Mary Jane and Joseph Brown are buried in the Evergreen Cemetery in Muskegon, MI and there is a fairly large monument on their grave site. I have pictures of the grave and monument as Muskegon was my home town. It will take me a little while to locate the pictures, but I will make an effort if you want to contact me. Joyce Bellows
