I saw postings for the Genesee County Poorhouse. Coincidentally, I found records that stated my great-great-grandfather Washington J. WARNER, was listed in various records as "Overseer of the poor." I don't know where the poor farm was in the 1840-1860s or what happened to him afterward, but if anyone knows anything about it I'd be very interested in hearing about it. Thank you!
