    3. HI James Hendershot. When someone joins a mailing list, they then start receiving all the messages that are sent into the list, some will apply to the names you are researching and others won't. You need to look at the subject line or read a little of a message to see if they are of interest to you. Some will give you pointers as to other sites that may help you even if they aren't researching the same names. Hope this helps. -------Original Message------- From: MI-GENEALOGY-L@rootsweb.com Date: 03/24/05 18:08:55 To: MI-GENEALOGY-L@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [MI-Genealogy] Wheelock of Lapeer and Oakland Counties hi- i have only been doing the "genealogy" thing for a couple of weeks, but have had some significant success. i am a little puzzled as to how you got my e-mail address, however, that is ok. i have been working on the hendershot" line/surname; is your family somehow connected to the hendershots? i would be happy to help you in any way that i can, offering my opinion, etc. looking forward to hearing from you. i am from the grand rapids, michigan area. regards, jim hendershot 616-785-3471 "Eldridge, Jerri R." <EldridgeJ@missouri.edu> wrote: Looking for Granville Wheelock and wife Lydia Wells.
