Does anyone know if the ships stopped elsewhere in the States before going to New York? My Gt Grandfather's destination was Bay City, Michigan and we have paperwork suggesting he was on the Germanic going to New York in June 1881. However, I can find no record of him arriving at Castle Garden. I was wondering if he could have got off at Boston? Many thanks Gayle
