I'm seriously needing to take a break from my family tree but I do enjoy the research aspect of this project. So if anyone would like me to find information on a particular family member or family group, I'm willing to see what I can find on Ancestry and a few other sites that I have found very useful. Give as many details as you can and I will see what I can find. Angie **************Recession-proof vacation ideas. I'm trying to find rellies that emigrated to the US circa 1834/5 from England / Ireland The husband is called Patrick Bradley, wife Ann Reay, their son James, and dau. Susannah I' afraid I do not know whic port they sailed from, or which port they landed. They eventually settled in Flint MI, and after settlement I have a lot of info, including land purchase records, but I'm really stumped as fromwhere they sailed from.I have also not been able to find their marriage record, nor their first two childrens births. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Your gr grandfather may have disembarked in New York, but if the ship first stopped at another US port that will be the port of entry. Wisest thing is to start checking Boston and Philadelphia and work further in either direction. However, I can find no record of him arriving at Castle Garden. I was wondering if he could have got off at Boston?
