Hi Angie, Thanks for the offer to do look ups. My brick wall is Stephen Wood born July 13, 1874. I want to confirm and find out more information about his parents. Stephen was born in England, but I don't know where specifically. His birth date is on his WWI registration and his death record. His marriage record says his parents' names are James Wood and Sarah Harwood. I cannot find any James and Sarah in the 1881 census for England at all, let alone with a son Stephen. His death record says parents unknown. Stephen came to the US in 1891...of course he would come one year before the Ellis Island records start on line! I don't know if he came alone or not. He married in Kent County Michigan to Mabel Ford on October 21, 1895. They had 14 children. I know where they are in the 1900, 1910, 1920, and 1930 census. He died April 15, 1958 in Kent County, Michigan. Any thoughts?
