    3. What was your veteran's name? I'll check around for you when I get the name. Not my vet, here, but that's an impressive site! Do you know if there are *like* sites for others killed in WWII? Mine was shot down over the Mediterranean, and there is a memorial for him - I think in South Africa, but I don't know where. Do you know how I could find out? Thanks. Nancy in rainy northern lower Michigan, where the grass and flowers are loving it! ----- Original Message ----- From: "Michael Patterson" <mpatter@optonline.net> To: <mi-genealogy@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, May 13, 2009 8:18 PM Subject: Re: [MI-GENEALOGY] Wayne County newspapers > Thought that you would like this link to his gravesite: > > http://www.corregidor.org/taps/cemetery/htm/gomoll_.htm > > Regards, Michael Patterson > > Michael Robert Patterson > mpatter@optonline.net > Scanned With Norton Internet Security 2009 Before Sending > -----Original Message----- > From: mi-genealogy-bounces@rootsweb.com > [mailto:mi-genealogy-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Debbie Arnold > Sent: Wednesday, May 13, 2009 8:09 PM > To: MI-GENEALOGY@rootsweb.com > Subject: [MI-GENEALOGY] Wayne County newspapers > > What organization holds newspapers for this county? 3. His name was Lacey A SCHRADER, and he was stationed in North Africa when his plane was shot down. Someone said that there was a memorial of some sort for him "over there", but I don't know where - nor where to look for it, even. Any leads would be appreciated!
