Char, I'm not a usual participant in the emails of mi-genealogy site but do subscribe because I have some people who were in Michigan. I have not had a lot of success finding them so will probably us the web site soon. the reason for this email is that I live in the City of Livermore in California. The city is named after a English ship captain named Robert Livermore who came to this area during the gold rush. He married a woman from this area and farmed here in Livermore. He is buried in Mission San Jose which is close to here. I don't know if there is a connection but who knows in genealogy. Thought you might be interested.
