Just in case someone might have some leads, my ggrandparents were Cornelius and Mary (nee) Harrington. Per the marriage index, they were married 12 or 22 September, 1863 in Houghton, MI. Any tips on finding names of their parents would be GREATLY appreciated. Betsy Harrington
I have found my ggrandparents listed, and would like to know if their parents' names would have been listed also. I cannot proceed without the next set of names!!! Thank you. Betsy Harrington
the best way to proceed is to find your ggrandparents on a census and see if their parents are listed. then go from their BJeNic@aol.com wrote:I have found my ggrandparents listed, and would like to know if their parents' names would have been listed also. I sure would like to attend this conference, but don't know if I can make it. I would be very interested in the Polish Genealogy Society of Michigan, as my grandparents are from Biatystok, Poland. I'm living in Florida now, does any one know if there is a Polish Genealogy Society in Florida? Hello, We are looking for the Rattie family that traveled from the area of Black River, Alcona, MI to Tacoma, Washington around 1900. The line is Peter Rattie and wife Veronica? (unknown Surname) looking for her parents, the couple was married October 27, 1890, Iosco Co., Michigan. They had two sons in Michigan by the names of Earl and Frank. Sometime later around 1900 they moved to Tacoma, Washington. Veronica died by 1901 in Washington State. We are looking for her families lines. If anyone has any information please share. Rose
