I am sure that both libraries participate in interlibrary loans so if you need to you could have it sent to your nearest library to your home. It is possible that if you only want to look at it...that the Sloan Museum might have one on display...their number is 810-237-3450. Hello everyone. Has anyone else had this problem today? I went into Ancestry to check a particular name and when I put it in, it comes up with a totally DIFFERENT FIRST name, same last name. For example, I just put in RUSSELL Miller and it gave me everything on KATHRYN Miller; I also put in on another query - FRANK Miller, and it gave me AMOS..... What is going on? I know that I am missing three marriage in Alpena or at least I think these marriages occurred in Alpena, that are not listed. Reynolds is the name I am looking for. Elizabeth A. Reynolds married Eugene Wright first abt. or before 1876 then married Robert McLaughlin second about 1910 Margaret Reynolds married Charles Fairchild before 1876 All lived in Alpena and appear in the census.     3. Sorry if you were under the incorrect assumption. There are millions of marriages in Michigan and our database currently has only about 510,000 records in it. We have never claimed that the database included every record. In fact, the primary source for most of our records has very few records for some counties because the county officials at one time or another would not allow access to the records for genealogy purpose. We did check and did not find any records with your email address attached so it makes it hard to find out what records are missing so that we could add them with your help.     3. Parents are not listed in records for the early years. Before 1867 especially. The information before 1863 contained in a marriage record is sporadic because there were no forms. Parents names were listed in the latter part of the 1800's and then not always. Lot of Harrington's in the Houghton area at that time. Have you been able to find what county or town in Ireland they came from?
