Having been a phot tech, I can tell you most any place in Michigan can send the pics or neg, even tinotype out to Kodak (Qualex picks up). They can even do individual negatives. It may take 10 days or so, but the quality is well worth it. I also have an HP negative/slide scanner that will take many of the negs I have come across. I found negatives from an old browning that I had developed for my "OLDER" sister (she is 1 y 17 days older than me lol). She loved them. Toni-Marie http://www.esecurityschool.net www.truckorama.net
I'm not sure, but you might ask your local copy center. It is amazing what they can do now. I just had about 150 old pics from my mother's cedar chest copied for about $20. I thought they said they did negatives too. If not, just bring them to any local reputable photographer business. They should be able to develop them. My family found negatives taken around 1964. We developed them in 1995 and most of them came out. I hope i've helped a little.
Where can I get old neg printed and about what will the cost be? I have around 200. Some need to be cleaned. Thank you for your time and any help. Danny - Michigan
Richard, FYI, I was just checking out the different pages included in these obituaries and cemetery listings and it looks like you have increased the price on obit copies but you haven't changed the price on all of the individual pages. Also, my father Thomas H. Ferguson is not listed in the Whitewater Twp listing. He is in Circle Hill date of death is June 3, 1995. Hello all, Does any kind person have access to the Mining Gazette from the Houghton area? I have read an article dated Feb 10, 1920 in reference to a Thomas TAMBLYN a pioneer of Houghton County who had died in his home, it states that the funeral arrangements will not be finalized until his son arrives in a few days time. I am wondering if another article would be printed a few days later saying where Thomas might be buried and give mention of any grandchildren Thankyou Gwenda nee Tamblyn Australia

Hello, You might look up churches under the name Reformed Church in America, formerly called the Dutch Reformed Church. Michigan, by the way, does not have a corner on Dutch immigrants. One of the most well-known Dutch Reformed preachers is Dr. Robert Schuler (have ya heard of the Crystal Cathedral?) and his family lived in Iowa. Best of luck in your search, Deb Roberts
