Thanks for looking. That Christofer Mindel was a different one although related. I believe the William to be a son. My Christof lived in the Remus area of Mecosta County. I have found Katherina's (spelled differently in the books) death registry and as being buried in Morton Township. The Mindel's all seem to have gone in different directions, at least most of them did, when they married. It's just this one that I cannot find. The family came from Germany to Canada around 1850 then moved on to Michigan in 1870. Only 1 son stayed on in Canada after they left. And yes, I have tried the LDS site and found nothing. Will have to go to Grand Rapids to the nearest LDS research to go through the Mecosta County files. Thanks for any help. Rosalyn

I am looking for information on this little girl. This would have been my dads sister. Her name was ( Lucille Corbeil ) I don�t know when she was born, this is something I would like to find out, She was born in Gay, Michigan her fathers name was Peter Corbeil he was born in Lake Linden, MI her mothers name was Maggie Wahtala she was born in Boston Location, Houghton, MI. Lucille's date of death was 11-27-1918 Lucille was 2 years old when she died. I think she died in Chassell, Mi. We think she was buried at Forest Hill Cemetery in Houghton, Mi. Hi Clarence Do you know where the keweenaw bay is in Lake Superior . it is in the Upper peninsula.
