    3. Donna, The information I found is basically quoted as such: "If you know the date of death, contact the Presque isle County Clerk, 151 E. Huron, Rogers City, MI 49779 pr phone 989 734 3288. Ask about a death certificate for genealogical purposes." But since you don't know the date, that won't help you. Here's something more helpful: "Riverside (Millersburg) Cenetery. It costs $31.50 and can be purchased through Eunice K. Pines, 635 Sheridan Road, Traverse City, MI 49686-1961." Good Luck! Concetta --- "D.C." <kinshipmatters@twmi.rr.com> wrote: > Hi all. 1. General 1860 Census question
    2. D.C.
    3. Hi. Can someone explain to me what I'm looking at when using AncestryPlus, I find someone on the 1860 Census, and then I find them in the category "Database: Michigan Census, 1827-70"? What is the difference between the two? Under record type it says Federal Population Schedule, then, Database: MI 1860 Federal Census Index. Thanks for any insight. Donna

She does genealogy coordination at the Hoyt Library but I'm sure you can contract with her for external services. If you have to drop a couple of bucks it will be well invested in your research.
