I've been looking for the marriage of: my Aunt Mary who was the last born of my father's family of 9 children. I know she was born in Camrose, Alberta but came to Michigan 20 years before her death in 11/12/1948. Mary Laura Adam to Russell Charles Marsack in the Detroit area during the early 1940's. Can you suggest a place for me to look? Thank you for any help you can give me. Hi - I am in Sand Lake about 20/25 miles north of Grand Rapids but I am very well acquainted with Ludington. My Grandparents lived on Tuttle Road outside of Scottville. I still have relatives that live in Ludington/Scottville. My Grandparents names were Lawrence and Kate Nelson. Rosalyn

Benzie County has been moved to the RW Server. http://www.rootsweb.com/~mibenzie/ Please update your bookmarks. I believe that we have Benzie adopted out and the new County Coordinator should be coming on board soon. In the meantime, pardon our dust, while the site is under reconstruction. Also please note that contributions are needed for the site. If you have something to add, please contact me. Jan Cortez MI State Coordinator
I found the site on the MI.gov site last summer. I had to go into genealogy, there they had different subjects you could hit on like naturalization, different records, etc. They had births (which had to be over 100 years old), deaths and several more. Hopefully they still have it on there. Rosalyn Genung in fridged west MI

Someone please help me..I am searching for info on a Louis St. John in Mi during the early and mid 1950's... I am told he worked on the train tracks in Michigan...I believe this to be in the areas of Detroit and the smaller surrounding areas...I am told he also used the name Joseph Darling and lived in Chicago and also Raymond St. John. I would appreciate ANY help that could help me with Railroad companies in that area and police reports as I heard he had been shot at least 3 times. This is a rather long story and if anyone has any info I would be glad to share it with you..This also may include the name Rightler in that area. Thanks, for any help anyone can give me. I am from NC and it is hard to get info in that are.
