Hello: New to the list and hoping someone can direct me. I am looking for a marriage between Hannah FISCHER and Walter GOTTLIEB which took place between 1930 and 1933. Hannah was born and raised in Frankenlust, Bay, MI and Walter in Detroit. I do not know where the marriage took place, but we feel fairly certain it was in either of their native places. There is also the possibility that Walter is Walter SCHASSCHNIEDER or SCHNEIDER. Somewhere along the line the surname may have been switched. Is there anywhere online I can look at marriages this recent? If not, can someone guide me to the proper record office. Both Hannah and Walter are deceased. Thank you for any help you can give me. Sorry about that gaffe. It certainly isn't written up that way on their website. I'll check at my local library and see if they have a subscription. And yes. Many of the genealogical sites are that expensive. We work just as hard as you do to find the information at a reasonable price. I think that $15 and hour is outrageous too. Us retirees find that much too expensive for our limited budgets.
