    1. [MI-GENEALOGY] 1930's Marriage Help Please
    2. Glenys Rasmussen
    3. Hello: New to the list and hoping someone can direct me. I am looking for a marriage between Hannah FISCHER and Walter GOTTLIEB which took place between 1930 and 1933. Hannah was born and raised in Frankenlust, Bay, MI and Walter in Detroit. I do not know where the marriage took place, but we feel fairly certain it was in either of their native places. There is also the possibility that Walter is Walter SCHASSCHNIEDER or SCHNEIDER. Somewhere along the line the surname may have been switched. Is there anywhere online I can look at marriages this recent? If not, can someone guide me to the proper record office. Both Hannah and Walter are deceased. Thank you for any help you can give me. 3. Sorry about that gaffe. It certainly isn't written up that way on their website. I'll check at my local library and see if they have a subscription. And yes. Many of the genealogical sites are that expensive. We work just as hard as you do to find the information at a reasonable price. I think that $15 and hour is outrageous too. Us retirees find that much too expensive for our limited budgets. 3. Can anyone telle me where I can find the Michigana, I found on the site of WMGS that there are some mentionings of my familymembers in them. In 1978 vol 23 there are MJ Vanderwiere, Margaretha Vanderwiere and Willem Vanderwiere on page 58, CA Vanderwiere and Lucretia Cornelia Vanderwiere are mentioned on pag 80 In 1987 vol 32 issue 3 on pag 104 Cornelius A Vanderwiere and on pag 105 Marinus J Vanderwiere are mentioned. I would be helped if someone can tell me what those pages tell about them and if someone can scan and mail it?? Thanks Esther -- Get Firefox!

    2. Sites will usually have that type of ad on their site because the company, in this case AOL, helps finance the web site. You probably could contact the web site and complain to them. **************************************Check out AOL's list of 2007's hottest products. 3. Actually I said that is what I did to find the information and that I would send it on to him. PAR <[email protected]> wrote: When you search google...you get a lot of choices....now if where you found that page...if you would have gone up into the address line, highlighted it...and then go into Edit and click on copy...then back to the email to him..and hit reply....then in the message box...you then paste what you copied...that way he would get exactly what you are talking about..... For him to go in and look for that is now going to be hard.... Jeannie Stevens wrote: I requested that a librarian do a search within the public library of Detroit Michigan. If I hear anything back from her, I will let you know immediately. The librarian's email address is: [email protected] Maybe you can give her some more information to help her with her search. I also found a newspaper archive sight by using google to search. I entered 1936. They have over 1500 articles on Train accidents in Detroit Michigan 1936, but they want you to pay for the use of their sight to view the articles. Good Luck in your search. Accident occurred when family was returning home from a visit to a hospitalized relative, and occurred on a Sunday evening. I have been unable to document this accident. Can you help me with this?
