Dear Lists: As you use the information in the Royalty.ged, I believe you will find information which does not reflect current thinking, or may simply be incorrect. It would be helpful to all to point these errors out publicly. One such common error is the citation that the de Stafford family resided in either Grafton, Worcester, or Grafton, Warwick. Both these facts cannot be true. In fact, the information may have come from author Frederick Lewis Weis, who cited both places on page 60 of his Ancestral Roots of Certain American Colonists etc.7th edition. A check of an English gazeteer indicates that there are Graftons in both Worcestershire and in Northamptonshire (but not Warwickshire). The de Stafford's homebase was Grafton, in the parish of Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, ENG. Bromsgrove is also listed in the gazeteer as being in Worcestershire. Author Weis was in error in one case saying Grafton was in Warwickshire. (see Line 55-34 thru -35.) 'Gene Hubbard
