Christine, I saw your recent posting about the Grant family in Berwick, Maine. I've been trying to locate the Pray family of Berwick, Maine for years now. I am trying to find the names of the children born to Peter Pray and Sarah Libbey. According to Anne Pray Becker's death certificate 26 Jan 1886 (info. found in the New Castle NH town office) they were her parents. I can find a marriage between Peter & Sarah for 23 Jan 1777 at the 2nd church, Berwick Maine but have not been able to find a birth or baptism record for any children. I also can't find when or where they died. Since you seemed to find so many birth/baptism records for your Grants, I was wondering if you could direct me as to where to look for the Pray family birth records. I've looked at the Historical Library in Portland and the State Library in Augusta, Maine with no success. Anne supposedly was born 15 Sep 1797 according to the Bible records written down by her son Henry Becker Jr. I have that Bible by the way. Any hints you could give would be greatly appreciated.
