Speaking of Hutchinsons, Pres.'s Bush and Roosevelt: on the wall of the FHL in Salt Lake is a painted descendancy chart w/ photographs of the more famous for Anne Hutchinson, showing Oliver Wendall Holmes, Pres. Bush, FDR, and Mitt Romney, now Gov. of MA, but previously head of Salt Lake Winter Olympics, among others (have it all down somewhere in this pile I call "my genealogy" :-) ) It was done in time for the Olympics. Anyway, 'Gene, I've got my Hutchinson line traced back to Ebenezer who just plops down from the sky into Andover, VT, in about 1797 as that's when he first shows up on tax records in town records. Family lore, as w/ most family lore, has that Hutchinsons go back to Anne, but we're several generations apart from her, of course, w/ it being 1797 for ole Eb in VT. Thus, can't prove a thing. So many Ebenezers and so little time :-) So, when I saw reference to Hutchinsons over the past 2-3 days in the discussion about the royalty.ged, it peaked my interest. I will, of course, wait the time you suggested to ask for information on any of that. This is, of course, the ME list and I'm talking about VT. We have NO idea where he was before that, but highly suspect MA, maybe Salem. If anyone is just DYING to know the lines to Pres. Bush, etc., as named above, I will be glad to find it here somewhere. But, write to me privately, I should think. I also took digital photos of the wall since I had never seen a family tree painted on a wall nor expect to ever again. Thanks 'Gene!
