Looking for info on: Loudusky Myers (Loudusty acc to tombstone, Loudusky acc to family members, no vital records found so far) b. 1836, GA (Whitfield Co.?) m. abt1860, GA to John William McKeehan (b TN) d. 1919, GA (WhitfieldCo.?) The family resided in the Whitfield County, GA area close to Catoosa County in the Houston Valley, near Rocky Face, Tunnel Hill and their mailing address was Ringgold, even though it was further away than Tunnell Hill and Rocky Face. Some family members area buried in the Dunigan Cemetery located in Rocky Face, GA. It is an old cemetery with hanging Spanish moss and large live oak trees, really pretty, you must see it! There are quite a few other cemeteries around there as well including the Woods Station cemetery, formerly known by another name). That cemetery is just west of the Catoosa/ Whitfield line in Catoosa. There are about 12 sinks in that cemetery without marked graves, only large rocks. If anyone out there knows anything about Loudusky Myers and her family, please contact me. I am related by marriage through the McKeehan/Sosebee/ Blackburn side. Hester McKeehan-Sosebee is my grand mother-in-law, she is a lovely woman, still living in the Chatsworth area just next to Gordon County and usually attends the McKeehan family reunions. Thanks!!!!
