    1. [Meyers] Sufficient Info
    2. Hi All, There have been some complaints about information or the lack thereof. I agree, but none that I read had a suggestion, so here is mine With each submission try to give all or most of if these three things and ask a specific question: 1.Full Name and name of spouses and children- (You wouldn't believe the number of George, Henry and John/Johannes are in my family.) 2. Dates for either or preferably both (I have cousins with the same names marrying girls with the same names and they were born a few years apart.) 3. Location, location, location . . . I am a descendant of the Meyer/Moyers of The Tulpehocken region which is in western Berks County and eastern Lebanon County in Pennsylvania. I literally have thousands of folks in the three different Meyer/Moyer families that I follow and they are basically unrelated except for a few marriages into some third family. I simply don't have the time to try to find someone when I don't even know where they lived. Why should I bother for a Meyer/ Moyer family in Virginia, none of mine went there! Unless the name interests me or I recognized it, I ignore the message when there is not enough information to get a handle on. Here is a submission and an Example at the same time: who are the true parents of Percival Moyer, born 10 Fdb. 1831 in Heidelberg Twp. Berks County, PA, died 15 March 1903 Possibly in Dauphin County Pennsylvania. He married twice, first Emma Bollman (no dates for Emma) and had the following children: Georgel L. B. 1 JUne 1862 and WIlliam J. who died in infancy. Percival married a second time to Malinda Heberling (no Dates) and had the following children with her: Tillie, Ellen Norah and Clara. The information I have about is parentage is not correct. According to what I have, his parent are William and Hannah Ritzman Moyer. However, although I have verified Percivals date of birth, my information shows that William was born in 1842 which is of course a paradox with Percival born in 1831. I have been unable to verify William's date of birth. Therefore either Percival is not a son of William or William's dob is incorrect, if wrong, what is it? Sure my message is a bit long/wordy, but everything that can help is include and a specific Question is asked. By the way, this is a legitimate query. Don Moyer cdonmoyer@aol.com
