Sharon, I'm sorry to tell you I don't live in Baltimore any longer. I live in Corpus Christi Texas. I get home every couple of years and find little time to visit the archives much less visit family. Now Meyers is a very common name in the Census Records as well as in the 1864 Baltimore Directory. My family is Caucasian and I have never heard anything about any racial marriages or even relationships whatsoever. Of course this could be why my family is so elusive, who knows. But I will keep your address as I said and if it does connect I will be happy to let you know. And yes it is odd we both have the same birth names.
