Mary, I wouldn't want to break anyone's bubble, but there were quite a few German Catholics with the name Meyers that lived in South Baltimore in the 1800's and early 1900's. Check out the records for St. Mary's Star of the Sea Catholic Church and also Holy Cross Catholic Church. Because someone says that they are German does not mean that they are Lutheran.
