Most of the family remember him coming to a family reunion in Michigan around 1948. I don't know if he was adopted or came from a different marriage. Some of those who remember him have given me names of his children, but are truly unsure of who they were (Edna, Alice, Clara, Clayton, George Jr., and Marie).
