They were a German family who emigrated from North Carolina to Indiana before 1829, where Sarah Meyers met & married Ephraim Spalding, had son Elisha Lathrop-Spalding. Family histories variously name her: Sarah Lathrop-Myers, Sarah Myers, and Sarah Lowtrip. Trying to solve the mystery. Any information on North Carolina Myers/Meyers families greatly appreciated!!
