He came to America with his father, who worked in Philadelphia area on a boat transporting people from Germany to America. He married Elizabeth ?, don't know last name, place of marriage; they had 1 known son Henri Meyers, b abt 1793. They ended up in the Abbeville, New Iberia, St. Martinville area of Louisiana.
