Thomas, I was waiting for info to come back to me from the Catholic Archives that I was hoping might fit some of your family, but I don't think they do. My grandfather (August J. Meyers) was born in Allegheny City, PA (Pittsburgh), in 1876. His father was Augustini Meyers, born in Germany - don't have a date, but would probably be around the 1850's. I wasn't able to get any of his sibling's names because they were born in Germany. Does anyone know how to go about researching names in Germany? -----Original Message----- From: Thomas Myers [mailto:Sirius_Black_@hotmail.com] Sent: Thursday, January 24, 2002 10:10 AM To: MEYERS-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [Meyers] Joseph Meyers b. approx 1805 m. Jan Van Allsdale - OH, PA It's been awhile so I'll post again: I'm looking for any information regarding a Joseph Meyers/Myers/Moyers who was born approx. 1805 in PA and later moved to OH. He married a Jane Van Allsdale and they had at least 2 children that I know of, Peter Jackson Myers (b. 1837) and John ? Myers, both of whom ended up in MI. I know that both Joseph & Jane were born in PA and that their parents were also from PA. Please, any help would be appreciated!! :) Thomas Sirius_Black_@HotMail.COMGet more from the Web. Folks, My grandfather was William Jacob Meyers, married to Pauline Julia Nahvicka. They lived in Vestaburg, Pennsylvania and had 11 children. He had a brother that lived in New York City. I am just starting to research his side of the family. I am told his family came from Germany. I believe his parents are buried in Fredicksburg Pa as is he and my grandmother Pauline. Any of this sound familiar? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Graham, Sue" <Sue.Graham@usa.xerox.com> To: <MEYERS-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, January 24, 2002 10:28 AM Subject: RE: [Meyers] Joseph Meyers b. approx 1805 m.
