Hello, I am also related to a Meyer(s) family from Baltimore, MD on which information is illusive. My family initially is comprised of 4 brothers that came from Bonn, Germany in the late 1790's time frame and settled in Baltimore. their names were Donatius, Godfrey, Francis and Andrew. Godfrey had a son George but I have no information about him. This family was devout Catholic's and associated with the Basilica of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. I have tried to obtain family information from the church, but no success. I am related through Andrew and he with Godfrey owned and operated a brass foundry in the early 1800's.
