I have a family bible which has the birth and death pages full of information that someone must be looking and longing for. I would love to share it (especially by photo so it could go into someones records.) There is no dedication in the front to indicate the original owner, but the first birth listed is Isaac Meyer, February 18th, 1816 and the last is Jacob Meyer,born June 1st 1855, died Jan. 6, 1911 The following quaint note is pinned to the deaths page: June the 16 1864 Isaac C Meyers Died at the Shattanooga hospitle on the 23 day of may in the year of our lord 1864 age 20 yers 2 month 23 days his grave 377 There is also an entry about a Joseph Felleuzer. His mother's name was Nettie not sure if that is short for something? And her maiden name was Sprague, I was told his father was a train conductor, so if anyone has any info please email me.

My William Meyers died in Ft. Madison, Iowa on Jan. 3, 1957. He was born in Missouri but lived in the Keokuk, Iowa area as far as I know from the early 1920's.
