Hi do any of you have a Sophie Meyer who married a Ferdinand Borchers both from Germany but I don't have a village to help with. They were my greatgrandparents. They stayed in Germany I think as my grandparents Ferdinand and Mathilde Borchers came here to the states and settled in New York City where my grandfather was a baker at some bakery there where they lived at 328 E. 89th St. New York City, bourgh of Manhattan, New York. I have been told they came over in 1912 as my dad Arthur Walter Borchers was born April 18, 1918 and his sister Anna Borchers Graf was born in 1920 I don't have her birthday but she married Al Graf but I don't have a date for that either. My mom and dad were married in 1944 and divorced in 1946 so I didn't know my grandparents out there at all but I did get to find my dad and meet him for the first time in 30 years.So please write to me and let me know if any of these names are a link to any of you.
