You're right, there arn't that many "Meyers" with that spelling. In addition - the 1900 KY census has the name spelled "Meier" Don't know if that was the census takers spelling or the way my g grandfather first spelled his name when he came to this country. Your g grandfather would have been in my grandfather's generation, not a brother, but possibly a cousin. His name was William B and was born in New Albany. I'm still looking for his siblings or parents. I'll focus my search on Charles Christopher - maybe he'll lead me to my folks. Thanks again, Paula
