The postcard looks to be dated circa 1915. It pictures F. W. Heinly and his family: wife and two little girls one about age 18 mos., the other is about age 5. The content on the back of the postcard reads: F.W. Heinly was born in Virginville, PA., Dec. 24, 1887. Came to Gospel Trumpet Office at Moundsville, WV, August 29, 1904. He began work in tract room and later became janitor. In 1905 he went to New York City, where he became Brother D.O. Teasley’s stenographer. While Brother Heinly was serving in this capacity Brother Khan, who was visiting America, dictated to him the book, “India’s Millions.” In Sept. 1909 he came to Anderson. Worked in the Sales Department 1909-1911. In June 1911, he became Managing Editor of the Gospel Trumpet, a position he resigned in 1917, spending the time until July 31, 1918 in obtaining a much needed rest and in doing home missionary work in Nebraska, TX, and a few other places. On the latter date, he sailed for India, where he became General Secretary of the work of the church in India. Brother Heinly is an enthusiastic efficient missionary, as well as an able executive in the office of Secretary. He will have c! harge of the new station at Kurigram, for which $10,000 was raised by special donation last Christmas. Maude L. Meyer was born at Ableman, Wisconsin, March 10, 1890. She was a worker in the New York Home for a few years, coming to Anderson in 1909 to become a worker in the Subscription Department of the Gospel Trumpet Office.
