July 25, 1935. He lived in St. Louis, MO and married a Louise Bacher/Backer. They had possibly 4 children: Bertha, William, August, George. George is my grandfather. On the death certificate for August Meyer it lists his father as being Henry Meyer and his mother as being Minnie Meyer. Both of them listed as being from Germany. According to the 1920 MO census August emigrated in 1871 and was naturalized in 1876. Searching for August Meyers ancestors has been a life long pursuit for me and this is the first break I've had in over 10 years.
