This business was later named Pioneer Cooperage and remained so. William C. Brown operated this company with the help of his brother Daniel S. Brown. I would like to know if this is the same business. The Brown family was very prominent in St. Louis at that time, and are written about in the Cenntenial History of St. Louis. My grandfather Warren Elliot Brown was one of William C. Brown's sons. His mother was Mary Edna (Histed) Brown.
