They were my maternal grandparents, though my mother was raised by a brother of Johanna's. I have a marriage record in St. Louis 27 Oct 1905 but by 1910 she was living in IL with another brother along with my mother and younger sibling born in 1909. He is listed as Heinrich Meier on mother's Christening certificate at St. John's Evangelical church in St. Louis in 1906. Johanna had two more children (Anna and Irvin or Irwin) who used the name Meyer but she is listed as "widow" on the 1920 census where she is a housekeeper (who knows who provided the info).
