Jul 1862, Germany, d/bur 8 Apr 1903, at 49 yrs 9 mos 5 days, of Consumption. Carl's mother was Sophia, d. 11 Jan 1894 at 68y 10m, of Bronchitis; father Christian Meyer d,. 7 Aug 1905, 86y 10m, of Old Age. Carl married EMMA PFEIL, before 1885, possibly Buffalo, NY. She was b. Jan 1863, Thornton, Cook, IL, d. 17 Sep 1955, at 92y 7 mos, of Congestive heart failure. All are buried in Mt. Hope Cem, Rochester, NY, Southeast Lot 119 in Range 4. There were 6 surviving children. I've never seen a Meyer-query that seems to refer to this Christian or Carl Meyer. Do they stand alone? I don't know where in Germany they came from.
