Surnames: Mayer; Sculley, Scully; Ahler Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/oh0.2ACEB/812.1.1 Message Board Post: The Mayer, Ahler, Blake, Cowen, Fox, Stempler and Breslyn families were all related through marriage (through the Sculley/Scully familey) and lived in four places: St. Louis, MO; East St. Louis, Illinois; Caseyville, Illinois; and some in Iowa at diffferent locations. Most of the early families were coalminers. I have looking for the ancestor's of Elish Mayer and Jack & Elsie Ahler. I have their portraits that came from my grandmother.
