Mary Anna Meyer was born somewhere in Germany on May 28, 1850 and came to Chicago around 1868. Soon after that she was married to Heye Warsing Follrichs and they appear on the 1870 Cook County census with an infant daughter, Katherine. They moved to Forreston, Ogle County, IL between 1870 and 1872 (Heye had a business in the area of the Great Fire of 1871 so that may have prompted their move.) Heye was from Rhaude Ost Friesland, Prussia so there is a possibility that Mary (or Maria as she was sometimes called)was from the same area. I would love to hear from you.
