She was a sister to my great-great-grandmother, Nancy Snider/Snyder, b 1837 Tippecanoe County. Sarah married Henry Meyer (Myer, Myers, Meyers, etc.) 1849 Tippecanoe County. They were in Black Hawk County, Iowa approximately 1856-1866 and then moved to the McFall, Missouri area. This is right on the border between Gentry County and Daviess County. Apparently McFall proper is in Gentry County, where most of the Meyers seem to be buried (McFall Cemetery, available on the MOGenWeb in transcription), but most of the family lived south of McFall in Daviess County. Henry and Sarah had 11 children: John Henry, b 1850 Indiana Martin Luther (twin), b&d 1853 Indiana Lorinday (twin), b 1853 Indiana, d 1854 Indiana George W., b 1855 Indiana Nancy M., b 1857 Iowa Sarah E., b 1860 Iowa Ezza Dora, b 1862 Iowa Arinda, b 1865 Iowa Emma, b 1868 Missouri Austin, b 1870 Missouri William Edgar, b 1874 Missouri John Henry married Mary ("Molly") Ferguson and had six children; after Molly's death, he married widow Ida Toller. Nancy M. married James Hibbs. Sarah E. married William Hartley. Austin married Nellie Gray. William Edgar married Ella Artelia Fanning. Most of this information comes from a county history that I was recently sent scans from. The informant, a descendant of William Edgar, died in 1988 according to the McFall Cemetery inscriptions online. I am just getting started on this collateral line, and would like to hear from anyone who has more information available. Sarah Snider/Snyder's parents were John Snider/Snyder and Rachel Ridgway (although the history gives the name Rachel Jackson, which is incorrect). Rachel Ridgway appears in a Ridgway book with about four generations of ancestors. Her husband, children, and some grandchildren are mentioned in the book.
