My wife descends from Johann Diel BOHN. While researching his roots in Germany, a German researcher recommended finding out as much as I could about others on the same ship. So far I have not been able to make connections with others on the ship. I now have proof that Johann Diel BOHN came from the BOHN family of Nussbaum, Germany. Nussbaum is a small village southeast of Maintz. I have not proven his parents, but thru a process of elimination have narrowed down the choices to probable parents.
