He was a shipping clerk according to the census. The one city directory I looked up didn't specify beyond "hat company." If any of these St. Louis Pohls went to Oregon or Washington, it probably would have been after 1930. Henry C., Ernst C., and William C. were the male siblings of Louisa. All three brothers were born between 1857 and 1875. I don't know where or when they died.
