For future researchers ... I have NO Documentation concerning this man. At such time as I am able to prove this I will repost using the same subject heading. I have the name Augustus Frederick MAIER, the father of Christina MAIER. She was born 6 Aug 1800 in PA, possibly in the area of Northampton or Lehigh Co. His wife may have been Boram MILLER. The name came from the records of a certified lineage specialist some 20 years ago. When I contacted her a number of years later she was unable to give me the source. She was elderly at that time and perhaps unable to locate her source. She has since died and I have been unable to find out what happened to her research. Christina MAIER married 11 Dec 1820 in Lehigh Co. PA to John Francis GILTNER / GUILDNER. They removed to MI about 1835 first settling in Branch County. Their first 7 children were born in Allentown, Lehigh, PA. The last child a daughter, was born in Branch Co. in 1836. Both died in Mendon, St. Joseph Co. MI. Christina's death certificate simply states her parents were Mr. & Mrs. MEYERS. The spelling of MAIER was given to me by the lineage specialist, however it may be incorrect.
