Caroline Notten Meyer was my Grandfather's aunt. My Grandfather being Chester G. Notten. In fact some of the info in the orginal inquire on Ancestery .com is now incorrect. I have moved to the Family centennial farm outside of Grass Lake, Mi. On the farm are two homes one being the home that Caroline was raised, and a smaller home that my Grandfather built in the 1920's. I do have a picture of Caroline and her family (?) You probably have more information than I have about Caroline . I do know that my Grandfather's siblings / a sister and one of his brother's I believe visited caroline in Cal. at one time. Maybe there is a way that I could put it on a disc and email it to you. My dad and I do have the Genealogy somewhat completed . We do know of the names of the twin brothers ( Ehlert and John )who came from Measure, England. Story has it that they were born on the high seas in the yr 1801. I do not know who their parents were or if they had any other siblings. I suspect that i will have to go to England to do any research. My Dad was told that the name " NOTTEN" is as common in England as "Smith " is here in the states.
