Edward's brother Herman is my husband's grandfather and the only information we have is that he was in the Navy in WWI and moved to Oswego, New York. He married a woman named Jessie Mentro and they had a daughter named Martha born abt 1922. We have the census information for 1910 and 1920 but lose track of them after that.
