William Meyer (b. 5-13-1846 married Barbara Sattig (b. 9-8-1851) in Ohio. as newlyweds, William and Barbara journeyed to Missouri by covered wagon. their first born child, Charles was born near Jefferson City, Missouri in 1871. By 1874, the family had moved to Indiana. First they lived near the town of Pulaski in Indian Creek township, on what is now the FA Miller farm. There, daughter Louise was born. They then moved to Beaver Township and finally to the Charl! ey Meyer (William's older brother?) place, where they lived temporarily in a log cabin. Martha was born there in 9-20-1874.
