Samuel parents are William and Mary M. (Vetter this might be spelled different in Germany) Meyer. William and Mary had 5 children that I have found. Would like to find more info on the kids. Mary M. Vetter was born in Baden, Germany in August 6, 1853. She had brother and sister that was living with them in 1880 Census in Henry Co., Illinois. Their names are Louisa and Michael Vetter. Michael was born in Germany and Louisa was born in Illinois. Would like to find out who their parents was. William Meyer parents was Andrew and Dorothy (Reckenbad this name might have been spelled different) According to the 1850 Census they said their birthplace was Germany, in the 1860 and 1870 Census it said they was born in France, in 1880 Census they was bron in Germany. They was born around 1810 but don't know where they died or where they are buried. Their two oldest children was born in france and the other 4 was born in Illinois. Any help on them or their children would be greatly appreciate. It was the 38th wedding anniversary of Mr and Mrs Meyer and they were showered with many loving gifts from the party of twelve relatives gathered in their honor.
